Bernie’s Leadership Institute responsibilities include leveraging everyone’s strengths to create the best possible experience for all participants and alumni. He has been developing and delivering leadership programs for Ripken Baseball since 2005. He has taught at the Elementary, High School, and University levels and has delivered 100’s of programs for local and national companies.
Bernie has over 25 years of Human Resources and Organizational Development experience with a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology. Bernie has worked in an HR capacity in a variety of organizational settings: academic, financial, manufacturing, and sales. He has lead HR functions in a centralized, decentralized and regionalized capacity. Before doing work for Ripken Baseball, Bernie was VP of HR for Williams Scotsman, an international Mobile Office Sales & Leasing Company.
He has been an avid fan of the game of baseball since childhood and has a keen sense of the strategies within the game and how they apply to the world of business. Bernie makes learning fun by combining real life coaching stories with experiences gained helping leverage talent within organizations.
